Monster Truck Jam
So I said I was going to see a special event at the Verizon Center a few weekends ago...and here it is! Monster Truck Jam. The name says it all. It involved numerous monster trucks, and a whole lot of jamming. I haven't felt this much like a kid since last August, when an elderly lady offered me a KitKat for packing her shopping at Tesco!
Not only was I witness to the 'Greatest Show on Dirt', I was lucky enough to watch the event from a suite, oooo and did I mention the tickets were free courtesy of Acquisition Solutions (Shana's work). Saturday afternoons just don't get any better than that. Check out the sheer delight on my face.

New Year and all that jazz
I've never been one to get too caught up in the celebrations and resolutions that surround bringing in a new year. Maybe it’s down to the fact that I don't think anyone should need an excuse to change something in their life that makes them unhappy. As someone really clever once said, "Every passing moment is another chance to turn it all around".
So on that note I'd like to wish everyone a Happy 2007, and I hope that you succeed in turning "it" around!
Even though my dislike for Manchester United runs deep, I really wish I could have travelled to Old Trafford at the end of last month with my Dad, and my two brothers, Gareth and Chris. The match finished 3-2 to United, but lets not forget guys....they were playing Reading!
Big thanks to Evan, Joe and Colin for hosting such a great New Years Eve party. The food, drink and company were all first class. Hope you got the hand-rail fixed!
Last Thursday evening Shana and I went to see the Washington Capitals play the Montreal Canadians at the Verizon Center in downtown DC. It finished 5-1 to the Caps. We're going to see a very special event this Saturday at the VC Center! I hope to have photos, and maybe even some video up next week. Keep them peeled.
